What brings you to this site?


Perhaps you are one of my patients looking for more support in healthy lifestyle change. Perhaps you are a learner looking for data on nutrition as well as tips on eating healthier. My hope is that this site will give you insight, inspiration, and ideas to sustain your journey.


Eating well is simple. It boils down to the phrase, field, not factory. Eat foods that grow, the way they are grown. Limit everything else, especially factory-prepared foods that come in bags, boxes, bottles, cartons, etc. 


Though that's a simple idea, it's not easy. Our society does not make it easy. It's hard to find time to cook meals from raw ingredients. The cheapest, most easily available foods are not the healthiest. It's hard to tell healthy from unhealthy foods based on their packaging. However, armed with knowledge and a will to respect and honor our bodies, we can all start making small (or large), meaningful changes.


We all want to live healthier lives. The world makes it hard. I hope this site makes it easier.
